1994 c1500 4.3 needs a little lift

Got a 94 c1500 regular cab. Love these trucks stock and all things 4.3.

Only problem is I've been a wrecker driver most my life. And I got used to 1.5 ton gmt400 3500hds or f550s.

I dont feel at home sitting so low. So I need a small lift. Not sure if a chance of rims and tires can do the trick or not.

What would I need to do to get a couple inches?

I dont want to turn this truck into a compensator. But I do want it to stance like a stock 06 to 11 f250 or newer gm. Or if anybody knows what I'm talking about the old gmt400 3500hd's

Put some 31s on it, it will lift it some and make it look bigger. I'm not into 2wd's, so don't know much about lifting em, but there is lift kits out there. But other than a 6-7" lift, not gonna sit how the Fords n Dodge's do lol. I have an 08 Tundra 5" lift and 35s, sits level with friends stock Ford.
