Difference in HD/SD is 4-bolt main vs 2-bot main if memory serves.

I'd love to have a FIRST TPI fed SBC...interested to see this one go together.

d the entire driving experience of the truck. Have you also done a full tune-up? Cap, rotor, wires? You'd be surprised what a difference that will make as well. I'd check those before you start throwing all the coin when you may not even need it....u

I didn't do the fuel pressure, I did the fuel filter which helped a ton, haven't messed with the timing as it is blowing big clouds of steam now, head gasket is toast.

I need this rig to be a daily so I am doing the new engine, really not worth further messing with this one if you know what I mean?

Well it will be happening here, I am going to document the whole process and everything I have learned, and I will also be 3D printing a custom air box for it.

Should turn into a pretty amazing rig with it all put together!

I just got the first of the parts in, the Terminator X is in the box, not opening it so I don't lose anything, and the timing cover.

Also picked up some Fiberon from Polymaker, gonna play with this stuff some and see how it is.

Waiting to hear back from the guys at First Performance Center on the TPI.

Also been looking around, thinking about putting the individual coil packs on it rather than screwing with a distributor and I will just run the old distributor to drive the oil pump.

Well, I SCREWED UP!

I ordered the wrong ecm, I needed the universal Terminator X Max, not the Terminator X, as the max gets you the TCM. The regular Terminator X is engine only.

So gonna ship it back, get the right one, kinda ****** me off because they were on sale when I bought them, and that sale has ended.
