My OEM steering shaft is seized inward, so after putting a new rag joint in I can't extend the steering shaft back in place.

Ofcourse, the only steering shaft available for my 93 is around the $250 (USD) mark. And seeing that the shafts for the 95 and up are only about $60, is there any way I can make the 95 fit onto my 93 ?

Or, if anyone has any ideas to free up my current shaft, that would help too. I have sprayed it with penatrating oil cause that's the only thing I had sitting around and I'm going to try again tomorrow to see if it's freed up any.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, wasn't too sure where else to put it)

Since you have the early steering setup, I'd recommend a junkyard Jeep XJ shaft. No rag joint. I put one on my truck in about half an hour.

I don't know that the later Chevy shafts will work on the earlier steering.
