I am installing an L96 6.0 with a 4L80E into my 2wd 93. Any suggestions for Camshafts and torque converters? I believe I'm going to delete the VVT.

Well, went with a Brian Tooley Racing stage 4 truck cam, ls7 lifters and ls6 valve springs. Looking at torque converters now.

What gears you planning on running?
I'd say a 3200 or tight 3600 stall if you really wanted it to move.

3:73’s most likely. The truck currently has 3:42’s but as soon as I get the Engine/Trans swap complete I’m going through the rear end.

Ended up going with a Yank SS3600.

Removed the old engine and transmission. Ordered a psi conversion harness, recieved the 4l80 back from the transmission shop, engine mounts on the way. Hopefully I will get it set in the truck soon.

Engine and transmission are in the truck:peace:. Installed the headers as well. Had to move the transmission crossmember and figured out that I will need a different driveshaft yoke.

What did you get the 6.0 out of? Looks like a truck engine (taller)? I've got a 91 2wd I'm looking into doing either a 6.0, or 6.2 with a 6 speed auto, not sure yet if tranny will fit in the truck. Looks like you did a great job on the install!
