I have a 1991 k1500 and it takes a while to start when it’s cold when it starts it kind of stutters for a little them it picks up and runs good until it’s warm. Once warm it starts sputtering and cutting out especially when out in gear rpms drop so low check gauges light comes on and oil pressure goes to 0. I’ve replaced icm, map sensor, coil and other haven’t replaced the distributor yet not sure if that’s the problem or not.

Pop the cap and look. This time of year is when condensation is at its highest. Buy a QUALITY cap and rotor from summit or jegs, real brass no aluminum.

I would start with checking oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. If it passed then look at something else. Like the distributor and such. My personal opinion is worry about lubrication before ruff idling

The rpm dropping so low the warning lights come on. Not the oil pump. Did you check fuel pressure,, check for corrosion on under plug wire boots, in cap plug wells. Pull coil wire - full of white powder. Fuel pressure, fuel filter, check and replace.
Start with basics.

I had a similar problem with my 1990 C 1500 and it turned out to be the temp sensor in the top of the intake.
After replacing that it run perfect.
