So I got the rearend in, found a slip yoke, and went to start it and it sounded like the started was falling of or something. Climbed under it, and starter was tight, but the damn flex plate bolts were loose... so I pulled the trans and installed some ARP flex plate bolts...

Take it for a few rips, and check the oil and noticed water in the oil... Blew a stupid headgasket. I thinking about the knock off "BTR" head gaskets I had bought from ebay.... so I got new LS9 head gasket and head bolts ready to go. Also drop the heads off and had them check, they ended up milling them a bit to get them flat...

Hoping to slap it back together tomorrow... Starting to get very frustrated at this thing.
