Got this truck some years ago. Was wrecked in the Lf corner when I got her. Threw a fender on her, bumper, cheap grille and lights in. Roll pan, shaved the tailgate handle.

Fixed a few things. Oem rust free metal of coarse. Now I’ve had a change of mind on some things(roll pan has to go. Should have saved the rust free damage free oem bumper. Sold it like an idiot. Should have left the tailgate alone. Will be going back oem on those things.

Decided I am doing away with the pockets on top of the bedsides. Welded some plates in for now. No body filler at all as of right now.

Then decided to start tear down around June 2020.

Pulled the bed off. Removed the spare tire mounting. Not going back on and was rusted worse than anything on the entire truck. This has been an Ohio truck it’s whole life and minus cab corners is sold as a rock.

Got the cab off and put them in the garage. Put rolling chassis back in driveway. Pulled motor and trans. Sold them both.

Got the frame stripped down to nothing. Then everything went to storage for a couple months cause we were in process of moving.

Got to work on the frame. Cleaned her all up. Painted frame with por15. Installed all energy suspension poly bushings. Ordered a 2/4 rough country lowering kit. Installed that. New rotors on front.

Thinking about doing a 4/6 instead. I’ll figure that out later.

Temporarily put the bed and cab back on so I could put it all in the garage for winter. That’s as far as I’ve got in little over a year.
