I have recently purchased a 1989 Sierra 1500 SLE that required some work. The last issue I have is when I turn the headlights on I have no Dash , Radio or Hvac lights.
I do have tail lights , signals , brake lights as well as headlights and park lights and hazards.
I replaced the headlight switch with a new one (no change) , found the dash ground right behind the OBD1 connector checked all the under hood grounds etc and everything seems fine.
The dimmer switch does turn the interior light off and on and the interior light is on when the door opens. I also replaced the rear speakers and still have a crackle in the right one , is this related possibly? Thanks in advance.
