Ok guys & gals I started getting parts in for the truck. Wish the weather would warm up, so I could work on it.

I got new Dayton rear springs 22797 at Fleetpride to go pick up. I also bought all new axle cradles & top u-bolt spring plates.

A Bilstein 33-174625 steering stabilizer to pick up.

I got a couple questions hopefully somebody can answer.

1: if I can crank the torsion bars to get 2" of lift in the front? Do I need to get extended brake lines?

2: if I do get the 2" of lift I want? Do I need to get the knock out punch for the control arm brackets? For alignment when performed.

3: How bad does a 2" crank on the torsion bars affect my alignment? I do plan on rebuilding the front end at some point. A-arm bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, cv axles, tie rod ends, idler arm.

Thanks. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't have to. In less have really short lines.

It shouldn't affect alignment, but wouldn't hurt to have it checked.

Refer to answer #2. I'd wait to do the alignment after replace all the suspension pieces.
Thanks. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I was a bit hesitant to crank on the torsion bars, till I got all the front end parts to replace everything.

I am hoping the 1½ rear spring blocks I got are right for the looks I am going for. I would like the truck to be 1/2" lower in the front.

I just had 1 other question pop into my head.

With cranking the torsion bars 1½"-2" on the front? Will I need to get longer sway bar end links?

Thanks.
