1988 Gmc sierra GT info please

Nice little truck. The Sierra GT package didn't come out until 90, as well as the Chevy Sport. The engine options for either or was a 4.3, 5.0, or 5.7. The 454 was just in the SS truck then.

check the RPO codes in the glovebox, hopefully its not too rubbed out or faded, might give you some useful info.

GMC had an ST option back then, but as far as i know no c1500 or k1500 GMC ever came with a big block
