I've got an old 6 lug 2500 that I'm looking to upsize the rubber on.
It's got steel 16 x 8's with 265/75's on it now, but I'm looking to go 18 x 9.5 with 295/75's.
The wheels I'm looking at come either +6 mm or —18 mm backspace.
I'm willing to trim the front bumper edge and the back corner of the front fender to fit, but I don't want to turn up the keys.
Anyone willing to hazard a guess which backspace will be better for me, or if this size will work at all?

Check out tiresize.com/comparison. Think that is full address, if not search will bring it up. They have an offset calculator, punch the numbers in and see what the difference will be.
