Currently building a 2000 K3500 and would like to go with 35x12.5.15s and have a couple questions.

Will 15s fit on the front? Im pretty sure they will on a 1500 but don't know ab the 3500.

Anyone know of a rear disc brake kit that works with 15s? A quick google search and I only found ones that for pre 88 14 bolts that stated it does.

You'll need to find 8x6.5 wheels in a 15, they exist but your choices will be small.
No clue about rear discs, and no idea why you'd want to bother on a truck that won't see track time.

Pretty sure calipers are going to be too big on the 8 luggers.

They fit. I had 15x8s with 4.25” b/s on 97 k2500 years ago. I have a set of 10s going on my 99 crew once get trans in n lifted. Depending on what discs you use they will fit. But if talking a late model rear with factory, then they won’t, or if using a crazy offset wheel.

Pretty sure 15s won't fit with the drums plus last time I looked into it the cost wasn't much more than replacing the drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders.

Might just stick with 16s if it's a pain

Since your choices of wheels are limited, it wouldn't be a big deal to reach out to the place where you are looking at wheels (summit or whatever) and ask if they'll fit the stock drums. I'd expect they will, I'm confident most people don't swap to discs.

The Summit website only shows a Dorman factory replacement wheel and it's for DRW trucks.

This is a link to all the wheels Summit offers with the correct bolt pattern.

Use the filters on the left to narrow it down.

If you look at wheel diameter and then 15" you will see on the right of the number (61) that means that is how many part numbers that are available with the current filters applied.

Happy Motoring!

I'll post pics in a minute, but I tried to put em on my 99, which is a true 1 ton. They fit on the front no problems, close to the caliper, but I've seen stock set ups just as close. The rear did hit the drums. I don't remember what brakes were on my 97, but must have had the smaller drums, cause these hit. I have a set of 2" spacers on it, and fits with room to spare. So, could get more (or less depending how you look it) offset without the need for spacers.
