Little back story, I’m not new to engine building but my experience is with off highway vehicles atvs and motorcycles. I’m looking at installing a LT4 hot cam 525 lift with LS6 springs, retainers, and roller rockers. The L31 that’s in the truck has 144k on the odometer, it’s all highway miles and I know it’s history because my parents bought it new in 98 then I bought it from them a few years ago. I’m wondering if it would be safe to run that particular motor with the mileage it has and if I might need a stall converter?
