So I just completed this swap by using a complete donor axle. All I did was bandsaw right behind the 4 bolt brake mount. Of course before cutting anything I measured the spacing from flange to axle. Everything mounts right up like factory.

Relief cut the inner tube from inside flange and simply used chisel to break away. Don't over think it. The flanges slid right onto my SF. Measured 1000 times and it's like it was there from factory

I didn't use a spacer. I measured the flange to axle distance on donor, then transferred that to my SF and welded on the donor flange.

Hey guys I'm doing the same swap. I bought the same 60mm spacers, although the spacers are not sitting flush on the flange , should I expect this or do I need to make the circle diameter bigger ? Help!
