It happens. I've had several people come up to me asking if I did a swap because they didn't know these trucks had a diesel option.

No i don't think so. Don't think the 6.5 would eaither. Had my 6.5 up to 3500ish today and it sounded kinda weird don't think i'll do that again.

The only Diesel that would hit 5000 RPM that I can think of the the that was installed the the VW Rabbit.

And the VW pickup too. My father in-law bought one, what a POS! He'd be driving down I-5 at 65 MPH and the A/C would kick on, all of a sudden, he's doing 55, LOL. But he got ~45 MPG!
