Power issue

I have a 1990 k1500 that has an odd issue where if you turn the steering wheel to a certain position, let’s say 11 o’clock on the wheel, all the power in the truck shuts off and if the truck is running it will also shut the truck off killing power to the fuel pump and probably everything else...
