factory style radio

Oem radio only plays static
Oem radio only plays static on FM and AM and only plays out of 1 of the 4 speakers (driver side pillar speaker). Already swapped out the CDM and radio unit with the same problem. I have a third one I have yet to put in as I’m about to swap the dash. Any clue on what it is?- Jjbiskup

Radio will not turn on
94 k1500 radio will not turn on. Checked power on radio cu plug and only has power to orange wire and no power on yellow(acc wire). Any ideas on what could be the issue?- Jjbiskup

(88-94) Wanted a new radio with factory looks and modern features, RetroSound installed!
I've never been a big fan of mounting a single din in the middle of the dash in these trucks and as I get older I appreciate cleaner/more factory style with a lot of things.
