I have a lead on a 454 with 156k that I can get for 400$. 700$ with fuel system. It is a 97 vortec 454. My truck is a 1990 single cab short bed 350 with a 5 speed manual. What does a 454 swap entail? I would like to keep the EFI as I only planing on running a mild cam. Will it bolt up to my 5...

2000 K2500 5.7 to 1996 7.4 swap

Hard to find information for 454 swaps online. I swapped a 454 from a 1996 (obd2) gmc C2500 suburban, I was able to swap the whole harness from the suburban and get the engine to run perfectly in-my truck Only problem is that only certain gauges are not working Fuel gauge pinging to the left...

Info on tbi 350 swap to tbi 454???

Getting ready to replace the good 1992 350 with a good 1990 454...I have couple questions Are the serpentine accessories brackets the same size Any wiring difference I know I need 454 exhaust manifold but is the OEM y-pipe different sizes Any more differences???
