1998 tahoe mystery trans
1998 tahoe 2 door. The rpo code says m30 and by my reaserch that is the early 4l60e and whats in there has no identifying marks but does look like a late 4l60 e from reading on novac trans swap. My 96 has the m30 tag on the side 4 bolts to the transfer case. The 98 has 6 another reason i belive...- Natedawwg

Hello, I am currently in the process of building my 2 door Tahoe. I’m swapping the 350 for a gen vi big block, the 4l60 for a 4l80, and swapping the differentials for those out of an 03 2500 HD.
