Post Pics of 285/75/16 compared to 265/75/16

Body lifted with 285's. I never was unhappy with 285's and 3.42 gears, still got 17mpgs highway and my speedo was actually fast with 265's but was dead nuts with 285's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Towing mirrors, again.....

88-94 you have to remove door panel, 95-98 only remove the triangle trim at the top of the panel to access mirror fasteners. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How long did your 4L60E last?

Thought it was original when rebuilt at 190k, turned out to be a Camaro case, no idea if it had been rebuilt before or just thrown in as a replacement. But almost 10k on rebuild as a flawless 4L65E. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What are ya'll getting for mpg?

Maybe because yours is a burban but my truck with 3.42 and 285's (32.5") got 16 on a normal week and 18 highway. The gear ratios that are slightly higher than recommended provide better fuel economy not worse. You're issue is it's a TBI 1st of all, your tires are also smaller than they should...

K1500 4x4 to 4x2?????

Entirely a pointless conversion.. why put all the work into making a 4x4 into a "2wd" when you can just buy a 2wd truck to do the swap to. There's only gonna be more **** to break if you're not taking care of it, because even with an ls motor your transfer case and front diff. can handle it just...

8 hi Headlight mod???

This sounds like a horrible idea.. nobody regularly driving on the road needs 8 headlights. The 4 hi is just fine, if you need the extra lighting for off-roading purposes get some KC's or led cubes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
