    The engine came with a 6l80. It has a tcm mounted inside the pan. It's a matched set so I should be good. I almost said that cam should have gave you more power than that lol. Then realized you said at the wheels. I'm sitting here thinking dang, its rated at like 405hp. But that's at the crank.

    Definitely what I was looking for. Thanks. Might have to throw some weight in the bed to help with tire wear lol. It'll also lighten the front end some to. 170 pounds lighter compared to a 350. May get started on the harness this weekend. Probably take me awhile for this project.

    Brake issue after 14b sf swap

    Finally got around to pulling my truck in the shop at work to pull the drums off. Threw em on the lathe and both of them were seriously out of round. Now the brakes are perfect. No problems. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

    Could be the proportioning is off with it having the larger brakes? Thought about putting an adjustable proportion valve on the frame rail for the rear. Adjust the pressure down and see of that helps. Almost seems it has to much braking power in the rear. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

    Done a 14 bolt sf swap on my 98 k1500. Kept the 8 lug drum brakes since all that was new when i got the axle. The rear wants to lock up at slow speed, and wants to vibrate and shake when slowing from 55. Anyone know what's goin on or had this problem? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
