paint getting rust like blotches from road de-icer ....
we don't get a lot of snow but when we do, these start appearing on my paint. look like rust spots but they're not. anybody know how to easily remove them or what the hell they're putting in the road de-icer? removal is brutal using my normal chemicals. thx.- 1997

Lines to go replacement SS brake lines, 97 K1500 Reg Cab SB ...
just recieved their kit BLC-172-SS1C. install isn't going as advertised, seems to be about 6" to long, side by side with removed OEM lines. part numbers on lines match on lines to go website. thinking something's labeled wrong at this point. OBD code 82 - 95 4L60e
hoping for some help, having a tough time solving this OBD 82 code. replaced solenoid, no change. (old one tested good) below is from GM manual, column normal voltage and DTC(s) Affected 82. i'm getting battery voltage on E9, this says should be .4v. (Getting .4v on E8) Testing the wiring...- 1997

Have a 1997 k1500 SB, 4.3, 5speed, 92thousand km, plain jane... 3.73, G80 only real options. sweet ride, imo. hopefully a positive addition to gmt400 after learning ropes... had GM series trucks, 67-72 (had a 67), 73-87 (had a 86) and the 97. looks like a great site.- 1997
