This is more like asking what won't work. I tow a 10k toy hauler with 1000 lb or thereabouts, tongue weight. Looking at swapping in heavier rear springs similar to the HD SRW chevy trucks. Springs are tedious to research. I see 3400 lb, 64" x 2.5" which will fit. Question is should I do...

K2500 Odd Handling Feel

After hijacking another thread (apologies), thought I'd ask here about a new issue. I tow a 11k lb toy hauler with a 1200 lb max tongue weight. Pulls OK, and still does. Been driving this '99, L29 K2500, 489/5 spd, since 2014. But recently when no trailer, the rear end feels as if it hangs...

99 Suburban Curiosity

New at posting on this site, but have an interesting Suburban that has worked out well, in spite of a tidy bit of mods. Converted to a BB 489, NV3500 manual, NP241, and all is good. Truck is a daily driver, pulls a 6K travel trailer during summer months. Has no issues of consequence. Cruise...
