Alright i know this thread is about 2 months old, but I am new here. I just wanted to say that these trucks aren't that expensive if you are willing to do some work yourself. You can pick up a C6500 for anywhere between 2k-20k depending on what you want on it. Then get a old c/k and get the bed...

Here from Navarre, FL. I am not new to the truck scene, but this my first c/k truck. I had a bagged 02 s-10, and a 84 c-10 suburban. I just bought a 97 topkick conversion and am looking forward to making it perfect.
