Yikes!!! Fire….hazard awaiting to happen if it ever shorts …. Possibly some alarm system wiring Or ??? Anyhow yeah that would have to go for sure if it was mine …I would trace it down where those are coming and goin and go from there …. good luck- FIREBALL 94

Well I got news while waiting on my new weatherstripping piece I went to the junkyard and found a good shape newer style weatherstripping piece designed like yours east302 and tried it on the drivers door my leak is totally gone, it come a few downpours pretty, hard rain and nothing, totally dry...- FIREBALL 94

east302 yeah exactly that’s the piece i haven’t changed yet, I’m guessing it’s called a drip rail weatherstripping I had the gm number wrote down somewheres but got to track them down again I haven’t changed those yet but to answer what u asked yes changed the door seals and not the piece u...- FIREBALL 94

yeah I thought about that dry as a bone but The leak is only in the winding up in seam of the door weatherstripping seal, and setting here thinking about it, now this kinda makes sense I wonder if somehow it’s the drains from the door causing it to pool up in between the seal somehow, i gotta...- FIREBALL 94

First I’ve been restoring/new parts to the ol red beast slowly but had my all latches hinges checked pins/ bushings good and (gm new stuff) on both doors they close and latch like new. Frustration: Are all replacement Interior kits generic colors?
I luv the sem stuff I’ve had good luck with matching up interior pieces. I got everything re-dyed to match my burgundy factory bench seat now it needs some luv, its wearing bad now on the drivers side fabric and I’ve had no luck in finding a factory cover replacement to match the doors .....- FIREBALL 94
