I kind of want a 3/4 ton...
I have had all 3 . I had a 88 heavy half a 89 half ton and a 90 3/4 ton. My current truck is a 1998 heavy 3/4 single rear 1 ton 9200 gvw i think. The one thing with the 1/2 ton i find is the rear axle gets hot and the brakes are lacking when towing close to 6k lbs. I would at least chang the dif... -

Torsion Bar crank
I got a hold of a set of short dif drop brackets for my 88 k2500 to straighten the cv axles . I got them from ebay and did the ball joint flip . Drove it that way fo 45k miles .- c4boom

K2500 lift kit choice I need help
I would like to fit 36 -37 tires under my 1998 k 2500 8 lug truck. The truck came with 4.56 gears stock so it would be a shame not to build it. The truck has a true track in the rear and I would like to put a arb in the front . I'm just stuck on the lift . I do not want to cut the front...- c4boom
