    Either they were replaced with later production 2015+ units, or the lettering was worn off, as all LS6 cars came with black letters. LS6 specific valve covers procured, media blasted, painted, new grommet and pcv delete, NOS GM filler neck and Mobil 1 oil cap installed.

    Oven cleaner, pressure washer, then dawn dish soap and a scrubbing sponge to get rid of any remaining grease. Then VHT paint.

    I'm not a fan of V-Bands unless they're being used on a turbo hot side. I really prefer the ball and socket style flanges for normal exhaust work. Especially given they allow a slight bit of adjustment on a 360* scale.

    That was a combination of defective torque converters and "rolled" hydraulic lip seals upon installation. Not all 8 speeds had that issue. The 2020 trucks received improved torque converters and revised seals.
