    Fuel Issue (pump?)

The truck just cranked right up and ran first try. Thanks y'all.

    Fuel Issue (pump?)

I bought the whole sending unit/pump yesterday. It's a Delphi, so hopefully everything is legit. In that picture I purposely tweaked it a little so you can see the tear, but I doubt I'll have any problems with the new one. It's installed now, just gotta test, and drop the bed back. I lifted the...

    Fuel Issue (pump?)

You're a fucking wizard man. *side note: I've had the bed off before, I live in Texas, and my truck is garaged all the time. No rusty bolts here. It was a cake walk. Lucky me.

    Fuel Issue (pump?)

I'm hoping you're onto something here. After disconnecting the (correct) fuel supply line and cycling the key there was good flow of fuel coming out there. But like you said, there should have been something coming out the return port of the TB, but there was nothing. Now when I cycle the key...

****, y'all are absolutely right. that's why i love you. thanks

    Fuel Issue (pump?)

I'm certain I removed the supply side, not the return, according to my manual. It was the smaller diameter hard line (passenger side of TB). Either way, pump or rotted hose in the tank, looks like I have to pull the tank or the bed to access it. I already bought the full pump/sending unit, so it...

    Fuel Issue (pump?)

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've come to visit the forum, but I'm so glad y'all are still here. '94 350 2wd Lately I rarely drive my truck. It sits in the garage, and driven less than 100 miles a year. It's about time for my inspection again. It may have been last years...

    another AC problem

Two weeks ago, I thought I had my ac fixed. This morning when I started it up I noticed the compressor kicking off and on. I took a guess with it being a pressure problem, so I jumped the pressure switch at the accumulator. Compressor stays on, but not getting cold inside. After it running...

    A/C Heater Control for '94

That would be awesome! There's not many gmt400 trucks left in yards around here. Especially pre '95. I think they all end up in Mexico. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=34 It's #5 at the bottom of the page. 33-0608

    A/C Heater Control for '94

Anyone have a working 4 speed heater/ac control unit for my 94? New ones are $600. :nono:

    answer to any 4l60e trouble

I lost 3rd and 4th. 6. No 3rd or 4th gear: “3-4” clutches are worn out. R&R. The car is safe to drive (in 2) until you can get it fixed. According to this I just need a rebuild, but does anyone think it would be worth it to replace the shift solenoids first?

94 Silverado Body Droped full Tube Chassis IRS

It's almost as if you built the perfect dash that I've had in my dreams, but better. nice work.

    My 93 RCSB build.

I wonder if Louisiana knows their "1"s are backwards. weird. Nice project! What kind of air cleaner is that?

    Dash cover. ISO Pics.

After seeing the other thread on cracked dashes it made me want to take care of mine quick. I actually prefer the boxy look of the dashes on 88-95 trucks, so I don't want to do the upgrade. I would rather just smooth and paint what I already have. It's really difficult to find older dashes in...

Yes! That is my new goal. Link to the build thread?

    Southern Pride's Official Build Thread

Most all paint is fixable. Most people dont believe that my truck has the original paint on it, until they see all the dents. On really bad paint I do it like this: 1.Wash with dawn to remove any old waxes, etc. 2. Dry 3. Clay bar - even if you're going to wetsand, and buff. Use quick...

    Android Sound system stuff

Probably because it's against the law. Don't let a cop catch you doing it. That being said...I want one badly.

    just another A/C thread.

I'm back in business now. I took it to a local garage to have the air evacuated, and the proper amount of refrigerant added. He also made sure there was the correct amount of oil present, because I surely lost a lot changing all that out. We thought there may be a bad pressure switch as well...

    just another A/C thread.

So I went ahead and installed a new evaporator core. I got it changed out without having to remove the heater lines. After I reinstalled all the HVAC electronics I refilled with a can of r-134. Now the compressor won't engage. I figured maybe there was not enough pressure for it to get...

    just another A/C thread.

I took the plunge and decided to inspect the evap core thoroughly, and pulled my entire dash. Now I'm down to the heater box and can't figure out how to get it out of there. I got one bolt going into the firewall from the inside, two bolts directly behind the engine block going in, and three...

    just another A/C thread.

I hope its not the evaporator core. Looks like a total ***** to pull that out. Do you really think that sealant stuff with work on a fast leak like this?
  23. truckintim05

    just another A/C thread.

When I bought my truck just over a year ago the A/C didn't work, and I figured it was just a leak. This summer I decided to tackle the problem and replaced the compressor lines. I could see where oil was leaking from the schrader valves. I recharged the system, and cleaned out the blower...

    FastOrange Build Thread

The astro seats look great. Do they seem as large as a typical fullsize bucket? I'm considering ditching my full bench for buckets, with custom console. Also, love the orange paint. Not a big fan of your orange carpet though.

Dash bezal and Cebter ac sec

It's actually the mounting point on the bezel that is broken on mine. New bezels on LMC are not cheap, and I cant find a GMT400 with the old interior in any salvage yards. I'm stoked!
