HE is correct. And from what i can recall 92s have a 700R4 which means that trans has no electronic shift controller of any sort it uses pressure and a cable system Cant remember what its called. however if the engine is acting up it may very well affect the transmissions shift nature. (Edit I...

Newbie with a quick PassLock question

Have you had the system checked to verify if it was the Passlock that caused the Parasitic draw? But yes, If he can delete its need from the ECM you should be fine. Assuming he's disabled it correctly removing its ability to cut power to the fuel system ect... I dont think you will run into any...

No idea how reliable they are but didnt GM put some of those mini max Dmax engines in the Colorados? I know they have them in the Izuzus in AU. but i thought i seen somewhere they did that to the colorado . might be an option.

After the last shake down run the sliders work great. Got around to getting the rear tire carrier done. Was thinking about adding a fuel can but I've never ventured farther than about 25 miles in most offroad parks or trail systems. If I lived out west maybe or somewhere more remote. hell, this...

Stumped...low fuel pressure when engine was hot.

So I had a similar issue first intermittent and it got worse until the truck would do it every time i tried to drive it. Turned out mine was a coolant temp sensor reading extremely hot/cold at random intervals during its operation. causing it to stall and not to idle properly would have hard...

    Gmt400 Escalade

I just set my ebrake pedal ever so slightly down like a inch down and the DRLs will cut off and stay off. also its not enough for my rear brakes to even notice.

    WTF is this?!?

WOW I had to make sure I didnt just flash back. there is a post on TYF about this build. IF memory serves me right this was a loose concept vehicle for a coach builder (unsure of which one but like Southern comfort or something) There is pics of a similar Tahoe in red as well that's depicted at...

Howl/whir from front end only in 4wd

Wind up would be my guess. however if that fluid is only 4k old Id say you might have smoked a bearing in the diff somwhere. Its doubtful that the gears are egged but anything is possible also a bearing in the front diff usually wont make noise in 2wd because there is no engine load on it but...
