4x4 issue

Hope this is the right spot, I have a 96 k2500 6.5TD, the 4x4 won’t “lock in” to 4hi, just blinks, I used to have to go from drive to neutral and back to get it to work but now it blinks, if I hit 4lo, the 4 hi light goes solid and the 4lo light blinks but the front tires spin even though it’s...

High idle switch 6.5 diesel

I have a 6.5 diesel, I’ve seen people make high idle switches for them, but I guess they buy pins from gm(or used to) to plug the wire into the pcm. My question is, can I just make my own pin? Can I just basically push the wire in? Does anyone have a couple gm pins I can buy? I appreciate it
