    I probably wouldn't do H/C/I in the vehicle just to pull the motor in 9 months. More convenient to do it on the stand. Not sure where you're getting all that stuff for $600 either. Does your block already have provisions for roller rockers?

    It'll be like 10hp, probably debatable whether you'd notice it or pretend you're noticing it. I'd probably do valvetrain, heads, and cam all at the same time just for the sake of doing it once and also you'll see real gains with the intended combo.

    I've always liked Rancho shocks, got a pair in the front of my rig and they do nicely. They come in a bit cheaper than Bilsteins, but shocks and fuel injectors are in the 'don't cheap out' category so take that for what you will.

    Just because a dealership gives you a part, doesn't mean it's the right one. OEM replacement doesn't mean anything. The ECM gets temp data from the CTS in the intake. It is usually a little different from the gauge sender temp but potentially more accurate.

    My initial guess is that your new sensor doesn't output the same as your old sensor. The '99 sensor reads low in my '92 cluster. Maybe 20-30 degrees.
