    Slight howling noise from rear differntial

    Pop your diffy cover and check your ring gear. There is a magnet on the cover. Check for metalic material. A bad pinion bearing will knock you ring gear outa whack and cause excessive wear. This will give the howl.

    I think u may be lookin fer a set of wider wheels with a larger offset than stock. The lifting by itself doesn't give a wide stance.

    Reread the first post and the first two pages. There are links to 97+ mods and posts affirming use on body lifts. I updated the original post to reflect the use of Grand Cherokee, Limited and Astro van shafts.

    Mine fit the original grommet size. I did replace the grommet due to age. IIRC the grommet hole is 3/4"

    repairing cracked dash...

    I repaired my dash with superglue then fiberglass. Did it in place. In retrospect I would remove it, then repair with fiberglass, top and bottom. You could replace it with a junkyard dash fer 100-200 bucks, but it would still be a brittle, 20yr old piece of plastic.

    Only two bolts. Its just stuck. As said above, rubber mallet.

    5 Speed Shifter Knob Redeux.

    Shifter Mod Modified Shifter with a bench vise and a cheater bar. Much more comfy to shift.
