If the 8.5 is so bad what’s a better 3.73 six lug rear end. As I stated above I have little knowledge of differentials.

Okay so I have a question. I have a 98 z71 5.7 4l60e/3.73 gears. So my rear diff has starting making noises but is my daily. I’ve tried finding a rear end to no avail, but, I found a 3/4 rear end with 8 lug. I have never worked on a rear end besides fluids so I’m out of my element. Can I take my...
