I think im gonna check the sensor at least. The timin was set professionally after I put the new distributor in but I had to unplug the sensor to get the fuel lines removed when I replaced the injectors. Part of me is thinkin I need a compression test because I did have some oil on my number 8...- Black an tan Z71

Yes but the only code I have had is a p 300 random misfire. An when the truck does misfire the cel will flash multiple times- Black an tan Z71

Alright guys, so a lil while back I fueled up my lifted gas hog an shortly after developed a miss. Tried running fuel cleaner thru it to no avail. Found out the pumps I got fuel from had a batch of bad fuel. Well I finally narrowed it down to my injectors, took off the top manifold an found the...- Black an tan Z71

Its a 1990 k30 square body crew cab. Gonna most likely make it a short bed. Its gonna be a dd, haul trailers on occasion an just enjoy it kinda truck. Maybe ill pull a sled one day. Ok ill try keeping my question short. Im doin a k30 with a 12v build. Both trucks have autos but im goin for a manual trans. K30 has a 205 t/c which I've heard can be use with a chevy nv4500 behind a cummins. Well I found one in a 4.3 v6 4x4. I know I have to swap input shafts and bellhousin but...- Black an tan Z71

How-To: Install a trans temp gauge in a 95+ GMT400 with a 4L60e
Good write up, I did the same myself but I put a mag hytec pan on mine an put the sensor in there. Used a autometer c2 gauge which matches my blue dash that is like yours but it is so brite I had to tint the lense cause it would literally light my whole interior up an gave me a blind spot- Black an tan Z71

Not sure if the tbi's are the same as a vortec, haven't worked on one in a while.. but there may be a port on one of your fuel lines on the back of the engine. Hook a gauge up, spec should be 55-60psi. I know thats what it is for vortec. Mine was doin the same. Had fuel but it was occasional...- Black an tan Z71

What size drums?
It would depend on what rear axle you have its either a 10 bolt or 14 bolt. The 10 would have the smaller drum an the 14 would have the larger drum. If I had a ten bolt layin around id measure the drum for you but ever since exploding it ive only had 14 bolt parts lol- Black an tan Z71

Anyone run bushwacker flares?
I used to run them on mine. Didn't care how they looked with the new wheels on they did some harm to my paint by rubbin. The previous owner did a bad install. But they did good keepin mud an rain from goin everywhere- Black an tan Z71
