    Flagship One 0411 PCM

And so also that van PCM should allow me to start the truck or will I still need to get a tuner to delete VATs and so forth?

    Flagship One 0411 PCM

Yeah it was in the back of my head that they wouldn't like the vin not matching what the vehicle is. I assume they are doing it to cover their ass. Just how blackbear is very strict with what the program/delete from the pcm, in the event someone comes back at them

    Flagship One 0411 PCM

I'm going to be doing an 0411 PCM swap. I already got the pinout sheet from Lextech. I just need a pcm. Since I'm in the rust belt I'd like to find a clean ecm that's not corroded or anything. I came across Flagship One has anyone ordered a PCM from them? I thought it would be easy to just...

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Another year, another list of stuff. Now with a four month old stuff is going to be getting done much slower for a little while. Couple small things I ordered an RZlights replacement 3rd brake light housing........add that to the list of most expensive plastic I've purchased...BUT, you can't get...

    6" Lift Bilstein 5100 rear shocks? 24-067379 2-4inch?

Sorry to make this a short question I'm concerned that the rear bilstein shock is not long enough for a 6inch lift

    6" Lift Bilstein 5100 rear shocks? 24-067379 2-4inch?

So I bought a set of the 5100s I just ordered the part numbers listed in other threads and such. Front shock are not my concern stating they're meant for a 4-6inch lift. Rear shocks 24-067379 state they are meant for a 2-4inch lift.....Am I missing something? This is what everyone uses on...

    Sound deadening in doors

I second the Noico, I think it’s a little wild how expensive Killmat or Secondskin is for 10sqft no thanks. My Noico is still stuck on there perfectly fine 3 years now.

    Sound deadening in doors

Sound deadening is a very thin malleable compound “very sticky” not sure what the correct term for what it’s called but anyways, as long as you clean the area for maximum adhesion and use a roller to apply it, not a beer can you will be fine. It’s not going to retain or absorb water. If it’s...

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Spring is here in Ontario, truck is finally out. On the menu for this season is some Realift torsion bar relocators, the steering stabilizer I should have installed with the lfit, a new windshield and new tint. I got the relocators in already and alignment done, just waiting on a nice day to get...

Need Help... Will 2020 Trail Boss Wheels fit on my 89 k1500?

You'll be fine! I always like to see new wheels on an old truck

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

I do, I'm just trying to decide if I'll wait to get the truck painted first or not before I put it on. I'm going to play around with some masking tape and see how straight I can get it..probably just have a body shop put it on because then I wont notice that one side is 1mm lower than the other...

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Naw the Falken 285s measured out at 32.8 where the Toyo's measured at 33.2, just according to website specs.

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Finally got a lift in, no rust made this super easy. The torsion bars actually came out like they were new! Still need to order some Realift torsion bar relocators to clean up the look. Put some 33x13.5x15 Toyo M/Ts on with 15x10 ProComp 1069s, I'm absolutely in love with how it looks. Still...

    Lift kits

Best thing to do would be just email them directly and see what they say, I'm not sure what the 8 lug hubs effect. You may also have different lower control arms?

    Pro Comp 4inch vs 6inch?

Anyone know if Pro Comp lifts are a true 4inch and 6inch drop in the front? I can see that the 6inch comes with an AAL for the rear. But I'm wondering if they are similar to rough country as far as just a key crank to gain the extra lift in the front? Thanks!

    GMT400 Lift Guide

I think it might be the fact that their website looks like a 15year old made it. They're not a major company either or factory production. I could be wrong but the website says it all for me. Not sure of the backstory with them but IMO putting anything bigger than an 6.5inch (other than a SAS)...

    Which Taillights Do You Recommend?

Another +1 for the Anzo lights, I have the non LED lights but I just bought two new 3 wire connectors for the upper bulb sockets so I have upper and lower brake/turn signals! They're super bright so you can even throw LED bulbs in if you like. IMO I find that not just Anzo but any aftermarket...

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Ya so I was wondering myself about this, I thought there was more of an indentation that the badge sat in. I'm thinking because they are universal maybe I have to dremel out the cutout so the badge sits inside it? Ill have to do some digging or maybe Ill just go to a wrecker and find one so I...

Southern 98 k1500 brought back to Canada (BUILD THREAD,PIC HEAVY)

Same I'm big on the two tones! but they definitely need the molding on IMO. Yeah when I got the new gmc1500 emblems I was like "Woah.....I've never seen these red before" It was for sure a surprise. Only problem is that I need to cut a couple to length so I'm trying to figure out the best way...

Also time to finally post a photo of how the truck is now from when I first saw it. There's no drastic mods just replaced a lot of stuff with OEM and made it look as clean as possible Enjoy!
