    I put a stick of butter in every torque converter i replace. But you have to use the fake butter, the vegetable oil is very similar to hydraulic fluid.

    Good quality spacers work great. My neighbor has them on his duramax for the same reason. He is constantly hauling tractors and large loads, probably has had them on for 5ish years.

    I would double check the title vs the vin tag. It’s possible that it’s a typo. I had it happen before on a corvette, didn’t even realize it until I sold it.

    Reality is that we are not racing a 500ci pro stock where every HP counts. If you want to flip your lid go ahead, want to put a nice open element breather go ahead. The fuel spray(along with other things) from a tbi acts the same as a carb, it will cool your IAT hints why a lot of blow through...

    I can’t even get the tires on my suburban to break loose by power braking. But my 92 will do burnouts for distance. Everybody wants to do a smokey burnout every now and then.

    4l60e nps or npt fiittings?

    My guess was GM used nps to keep from breaking the case if over tightened? I’ve never used nps, npt is normally what I’ve used on everything.

    grab a few gallons of diesel and a stiff brush. Drain your oil after your done and one more time after driving it a few miles.

    Don’t worry about the tires they will be fine. It usually take a few coats, spray it on and you will see the clear coat start to bubble after several minutes. Wash them with the pressure washer and repeat.

    If you’re planning on a 2/4 drop I would suggest a 245/45/19 on the front and a 275/40/19 on the rear.
