    Cycling back through this now that I am in the middle of replacing the intake manifold gasket. Did you place the thin bead of RTV around the coolant passages directly on the aluminum manifold, or the cast iron head, or both?

    Looking at my Blackstone oil report, it says potassium level was 256 ppm. That is a volume percent 256 ppm = 0.000256 of total volume 7 quarts of oil x 0.000256 = 0.001792 quarts 0.001792 quarts = 0.344 teaspoon I don’t know but it just seems like a really small amount to be overly worried about

    Don't drive it too much if I don't have too - gets about 10 mpg no matter what I'm doing. Use my 30 mpg Corolla instead. But I don't let it sit too long without driving it some, I don't think it's good for these trucks to sit too much.
