    SAS dana ?

the drive shaft prob isn't hooked up because they don't make a yoke for the np243 for a cv. you have to modify a np 208 yoke and get a shaft made. with 6" springs a single u-joint shaft will bind real bad. your looking at 300 is for the shaft and a yoke. plus the yoke needs be be modified. then...

    Project: SAS Tow Rig

Truck looks killer. I might be a little late to post this, but you can run a doublecardan front shaft with the 243. You can fit a 1350 series joint with about 1/4" of clearance on the shift box. get a np208 yoke and drill about .400" of the splines out of the back or it will not tighten up on...

Yes it is a kingpin d 60 and the only thing is can think of is with the wider pads is that it puts the shackle really close to the frame ant the rear. like 1/4" but i dont have any problems with it.

    What to do???

I believe the Allison has the same bolt pattern as the 454 but prob need to modify the flex plate. yes it is an 4l60e. I was just going to leave most of the wiring alone and jimmy rig the 454 in it for the time being. or at least long enough tho blow the 4l60e and rebuild the 8.1 and Allison. I...

Can those who know better double check my work

The sky sas kit looks pretty nice. I wish they would have offset there rear shackle instead of running a spacer. If you only want 7" of lift then you will want to drill the sky brackets front x-member hole about 2" closer to the frame. so the brackets will only give you 4" of lift and then 2.5"...

I made my own brackets that net about 3.5" of lift, and stock 52" Chevy rear springs with 2 leafs added. it sits at about 8" of lift. here's a pic with some 36's it doesn't rub at all. I'm running a d 60 out of a newer ford 1986 it has the wider spring pad width but you can get them complete...
