What are these? And why cant I find aftermarket headers with these?
I drive a 1998 Chevy Tahoe 4D LT with the L31 350 (5.7). I'm looking to do a complete exhaust replacement, but the headers is where I'm finding most of my issues. I have these tubes that connect to the stock manifolds, I've included pictures below. There is a port in the front of the manifolds... -

Do I really need the EGR ports? How would I do without em?
I'm looking to replace my headers, and well, everything back. I've noticed though when poking around that there are EGR ports on the stock manifolds, but hardly any aftermarket headers with EGR ports. How would I go about installing headers and getting rid of the EGR? -

I am looking to Turbocharge my 98 Tahoe, How should I prepare my engine, what mods do I need/would be recommended.
Without any compromises (no removal of A/C or Power steering ect.) I want to install a turbo.
