Intake Manifold upgrade

1998 gmc k1500 Planning on swapping out the tired 5.7 for a 383 stroker from S&J Engines. Is there any upgrade I could do on the stroker instead of the stock intake manifold from the 5.7? Would like to stay with mpfi instead of tbi or carbed.

Long Tube Headers

1998 gmc k1500 Planning on swapping out the tired 5.7 for a 383 stroker from S&J Engines. Looking for a set of long tube headers to put on it, what’s the best brand to go with? How are the ebay headers?

Engine swap

Just picked up a very clean 98 gmc z71 with vortec 5.7 for dirt cheap. Motor has some issues so I’m looking to do a motor swap. I do daily drive a 97 Chevy k1500 so I’m pretty familiar with these trucks. I’d like to get this one pretty souped up but nothing too crazy. Looking for ideas on...
