    Block walls were cheaper than poured concrete walls. They exceed Code requirements with rebar reinforcement and concrete filled cells.

    Latest update... Got the foundations filled... 325 tons of gravel!!! Contractor was going to make forms this week but he found out when scheduling for concrete that they were going to be closed the week between Christmas and New Years! So he had to hurry and finish his other pour before this...

    Valance Mounted Fog Lights

    There are holes already along the bottom of the factory front bumper... and the LMC valance has clearance provisions for the fog brackets. I only had to cut the openings in the valance ( there were score lines on the backside of the valance so it made it easy )

    Rear bldg got added course... White pipe at front corner is for a concrete filler bollard to protect metal bldg's corner and downspout from getting hit when passing thru btwn bldgs and shed... there is a wall behind the shed. You can also see tops of downspout drains at corners. Closer...

    Part of foundation drainage at wall btwn the 2 bldgs. Trench drain connection at wall btwn the 2 shops. Outside of that wall.... black drainage piping will connect here and go to connect with yard drainage at rear corner. This is where we decided that rear bldg had to be raised a block...

    Played plumber next day and into the evening waiting for more block... This is trench drains going in front of dbl garage doors at rear bldg. Some electrical conduit too... we have buried electrical... rear bldg will have sub-panel elec. box fed from front bldg elec. panel.

    They are $52 for each complete foglight w/mount to fit the factory underbumper mounting... that's not outrageous.

    Part Five... Fotting step down forms... Back Bldg all set for concrete... Footings for both buildings all done! Surveyor came this morning to set all the corner pins for the Masonry Guys to start laying blocks!! They start 1st thing in the morning! More progress pics to follow!!

    Here's a few pics for perspective.... yeah, ground at back corner of front shop does slope down a bit... kinda why foundations/slabs actually cost a little more than the 2 bldgs... but it is what it is...:shrug:
