    Just had 4.56 gears installed to replace the 3.42s. My truck is a 5speed manual so I can always upshift as needed. However, 75mph I’m turning 2,500rpms in 5th gear. Love this setup with my 33” tires.

    Well said. My apologies. I was just wanting to see options regarding crossing over from drivers manifold/collector without using a Y Pipe for a “True Dual” setup. My engine dynoed 448 at the crank naturally aspirated.

    Yes sir. Motor is offset 2 5/8” to passenger side. Had to use mid length. However, the 1 5/8” primaries and 3” collector dramatically improved throttle response, low rpm power, and idle.

    Swapped out the 1 1/2” primaries with 2.5” collector headers. Just the 1 5/8" primaries with 3" collector made a huge difference. Idles better, accelerators smother and sooner. Even is smother below 1400rpms. Next step is 2.5” duals from collector back.

    I had the same issue when I converted my 4.3 V6 to a 383. I used OEM(Treasure Yard) engine mounts and new frame mounts. My motor matched perfectly with the input shaft of the trans. However, the Headman headers I ordered would not fit. Hedman told me to measure for offset. My engine is 2 5/8”...
