    *Complete Exhaust?*

Sorry I didn't get back to this until now but thanks for the heads-up, guys.

    *Complete Exhaust?*

Thanks for the heads-up. I have a dual system from the factory, not a Y pipe, and I'd like to keep it that way. No cats. I welded in a section in place of both of them. Not sure what you mean by "going OEM." Agreed, but with me throwing on headers, yanking out the cats, and going through...

I'll look into both. Thank you.

    *Complete Exhaust?*

Hey guys. The exhaust on my truck has been rigged so many times now it's just time for a new system. I thought a few years back there was someone on here with a 'burb that bought a complete system that was made up of a bunch of pieces he welded together. Does anyone know of any place online that...

    Long tubes? Or short?

Go full-length and take it to an exhaust shop that can cut and move your flanges to the appropriate position. I have shorties on my truck only because I came across a used set. If I were buying new I'd never consider purchasing them.

    *Anyone Built Their Own Axles/Diffs?*

Good question, and one I forgot to mention. You pretty much summed it up in the second sentence though. Rebuilding a 14b throughout may just be the way to go. It was just something that came across my mind at work today. I'm sure I wouldn't be looking to spend what it would end up costing to...

    *Anyone Built Their Own Axles/Diffs?*

As the title states, I'm wondering if anyone on here has just done everything themselves as opposed to hunting down a used 14 bolt (etc.) and whatnot. It's something I'd be perfectly capable of doing, I just don't know where I'd start. The main reason being that I just re-geared my 10 bolt...

Rough Country 4"/6" kit install tips.

Besides the add-a-leaf, no. The kits are the same. The brake lines simply get relocated, by the way. They're not actually extended. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    The stupid exhaust question thread

Anybody come across a header-back exhaust for our trucks online? I'll be welding up a new exhaust but the thought crossed my mind to buy one. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    No Heat

As df2x4 said, throw a new thermostat in first. With the coolant hose like you're saying, that's the first thing I'd do. I had to replace my HVAC control panel a few years back but my problem was it wouldn't do anything but full-blast or off, no in between. I found out the circuit board had...

    *Tined Tails (Not NiteShade)*

Nothing a little scuff 'n' buff can't fix but adding reducer seems to make it flow pretty well so I just end up nibbing out the big dirts. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    *Tined Tails (Not NiteShade)*

What I mean is 4:1 divided in half. Plus I like to throw in a splash of reducer. It helps level out orange peel. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    *Tined Tails (Not NiteShade)*

I've never sprayed those but it'll be the same. It's about as simple as it gets - (in PPG/ShopLine mixture) Clear/catalyst 4:1 + 1 part black. The amount of black kind of varies but I've found if I mix 2:0.5 clear with :1 part of black added to that. The 2:0.5 mixture in a pint mixing cup seems...

Yep, $15. I actually didn't notice until now. Tined tail lights usually sell faster than tinted. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    RockAuto Body Panels

Basically any of the replacement panels on the sites are the same. I've ordered from LMC, JC Whitney, RockAuto, etc for parts on versions vehicles for side jobs and whatnot and they're pretty much all the same. By the same I mean moderate quality jap panels. Although I will say, I've had...

Is Rough Country worth the money?

I haven't heard anything bad about them since they did that while revamp thing years back. I just put their 6" on my truck last spring and I have no complaints to date. Sent from my bored/stroked iPhone 6S

    *Tined Tails (Not NiteShade)*

It's time to get rid of these since they've been sitting in the garage for a while they're factory lenses, I tinted them with tinted PPG clearcoat. The bulb board in the back works just fine but a screw is broken off the plastic boss ( as shown between my fingers in the second pic ). I'd like to...
