1995 4.3 to 5.3 swap questions

So I ordered a flex plate adapter for the torque converter situation. My 5.3 is not a dbc but I am converting it to one. I gotta new throttle body and a harness from Amazon made for dbc.

This is my first post here sorry if I’m asking something thats been covered a lot. I’m just looking for some reliable info and hoping to find it here. I have a 1995 Sierra single cab short bed 2wd 4.3L automatic. I just bought a low mile 2001 5.3L from a suburban. I have a few questions before...
