    Ive been away the past 3 days for work. Training and recertification. Buddy came over and looked at my truck. He thinks the fly wheel is cracked or starter rubbing. He also put my blue leds in my cluster and 4wd panel. Front light isn't working tho on the 4wd Pics of the cluster

    i was having problems with it staying running and idling rough till i took the belt off. pretty sure its the alternator. gauge was almost pegged out. but the knock is still there

    no i did not. it sounds like its coming from between the motor and transmission. i pulled the bottom half of the bellhousing cover and didnt see anything rubbing. a mechanic where my dad works (sawmill) is coming to see if he cant find where it is coming from

    Got a quick pic at work. I need to adjust my topper. It doesn't fit my bed spot on. 1/4 inch on the bed sides and maybe 1/2 or less on tailgate. But for $50 and have side doors I'll work with it. I plan on getting a new A.R.E topper that actually fits my truck

    Sorry i havent posted much. trucks been at the shop getting the p1345 and p1351 codes fixed. they ended up putting a new distributor, coil, cam and crank sensor. i also had them replaced the power steering pulley pump and lines. i did get some ditch light installed on my hood and my ARE topper...

    buddy of mine brought his scanner over and i pulled the codes. i only have p1345 and p1351. i ordered a power steering pump and pulley and new belt. also picked up ad244 alternator

    thanks Erik. ill try that with the new intake im getting. buddy of mine has and old intake off a vortec that hes giving me. im going to clean it up and replace everything on it. Now im chasing a problem with hard to start/long cranking and dying after started after the motor is warmed up...

    so im needing new tires. my local tire shop has 265/75r16s thunder mts for 150 and 170. one set is discounted cause of blemish. another shop has dick cepek exp 265/70r17 for 173. does anyone have any experience with either tire? i have the stock 16 and 17 inch wheels
