    FWIW, I had this same issue on my 2000 C3500 because the shoes I bought were the same length and I put the thicker shoe to the rear. Didn't think it could make that big of a difference, but I swapped the thicker shoe to the front and the brakes work beautifully now.

    No, the window is in good working order. It looks like the sun reflected off of the mirror and heated the weatherstrip unevenly, not sure this is the case, but it looks like it. I have the new strips from warranty, just haven't gotten around to installing them yet. Hopefully they last longer...
