I was wrong about the tailshaft it's the back of the trans (4x4 4l60e) right on the side by where it mounts to transfer case- 21InA94

Brazing vs jb weld??
Motor mounts second trans at the tailshaft was just thinking cheapest way to get running. 2 year only trans and a pain to find. What years 80 would work or what would be involved other than obvious driveshaft- 21InA94

Cracked 4l60e braze or jb weld found some nice low temp brazing rods from harbor freight that have a melting point of 700 or I could just jb weld thought experience and opinions- 21InA94

4l60e cracked case for 3rd time
Have the same problem second transmission in 6 months bought the truck with a vibration changed the u joints a broke the first trans not long after around July a few months go by I replace my whole front suspension and go back to a more stock size rim and tire then coming home one day truck just...- 21InA94

Sorry about taking so long to reply had a baby and didnt have time.. The holes are definitely out of round because they slip right in when i get new ones and wear out in no time. Where would i get oversized bushings from? Or does anybody have a diagram and measurements of the hinges to make a...- 21InA94

Door won’t shut right
Long time reader new member. I’ve done everything changed pins latch striker still sags but got it to shut if I lift it up all the way closed. I’ve tried bending with a jack and no Luck it still drops to the same. Read many that say get a new door but it looks like it has been replaced before...- 21InA94
