    I've removed and installed the upper intake and spider so many times I'm even doing it in my sleep lol. Seems to be running like it should. With the MPFI spider, the idle is so smooth now...barely tell it's running from inside the cab. Moral of the story....DO NOT PUT DIESEL IN YOUR GAS TRUCK!

    I read somewhere on this forum that you will see lower fuel pressure after installing the MPFI spider. I got a reading of 55 psi that slowly dropped to 50 psi after a couple minutes. Does this sound about right???

    I disabled the passlock as well as the downstream O2 sensors...that's it but I will go back to stock and see what happens.

    That's the thing...it seems every gas station is different. At one station yellow is diesel and red is gasoline. At another, diesel is black and gasoline is green. One would think that there would be some consistency to help avoid dumba$$es like me.

    I thought it was a coincidence as well the first time. I have now done this 3 or 4 times in the past week...same no start...same fires up instantly after being plugged in. I am going to order a fuel pressure testing kit if changing the fuel filter doesn't help.

    I never really liked the square cutouts but have seen a couple now with dual exhaust tips that look pretty decent. I will have to cut maybe an 1" to 1.5" of my bumper to get them tucked up a bit. Still trying to find some decent pics though.

    99 k1500 suburban passlock issues

    Had a very similar issue with my 98 last winter. Ended up buying the HP Tuners OBDII device and turned the security off myself. At the same time I turned off the downstream O2 sensors as I removed the cats. It's super easy to do yourself if that's the route you are thinking of taking.
