    door bracket

    I am replacing my passenger door on my 89 Silverado. While looking at the door brackets, I noticed that the top one looks bent. Is it supposed to be flat at the top? This seems to be bent or concave at the top. It’s it’s bent, can I just straighten it out or would I have to replace it? Thanks...

    Hood alignment

    So I went ahead and did the recommended loosening of the core to frame bolts. Attached a ratchet strap to my other truck and pulled it to the passenger side. A few tweaks here and there. Got way better results. The hood shuts completely now but the gap is a little off. I’ll let the body shop...

    Hipster and TagAllen, I will definitely try that one out. I think that fix may be my solution. I’ll try it first thing when I get home. Thanks to all that have responded. You guys rock! Quick and helpful responses are what keep these forums alive

    I forgot to mention that the hood was off alignment prior but now it will not securely close Thank you Syndicate. I will try that. I’ll start w the hood alignment. There doesn’t seem to be much wiggle room though

    So I replaced the damaged radiator core support on my 89. I put everything together and the hood is way off. The fenders now line up perfectly w the radiator support. Any ideas on how to alight the hood?
