I wouldn't put stack on my gas truck, but if you want to it's your truck man. I'd leave the duals the way they are with 2 cats, then put mufflers after the cats and then go to the stacks. And yeah leave the piping at 2 1/4" for a stock motor
Well damn, it's been forever since I've been on here...
Story time:
So last August I got back from New Hampshire and some friends and I decided to take the boat out to the lake. Elsie got there just fine and we hit the water. About an hour into skiing and tubing I noticed the boat was getting...
Yeah the front track width definitely is a bit longer than the rear...if you want to run spacers I'd go with 1/2 to 1" wider in the rear. And make sure to go with billet spacers, you don't want to cheap out on something that could kill you if it fails
No new updates on the truck recently...I've actually been about 2000 miles away from her for the past couple months since I'm working as an intern for Ruger up in New Hampshire. Hopefully I'll still have some money to spend on the truck after I finish buying all these guns, haha
Bought a used Ranch Hand when I first got the truck and that stayed on for a while...
Got tired of it after a while and now I'm running a Pro-Comp prerunner bar
It's got a pair of Hella 500s on it now too, but no pics since I'm 2000 miles away from my baby for the summer :(
I think it's about an inch difference front to back on 4x4's, and I know for sure that the 2wd rear axles are 3" narrower than a 4x4. I have no idea why
Like I said before, I've noticed that my truck doesn't downshift anymore on this one hill by my house since switching from 3.73 to 4.10, but everyday driving and acceleration wise I didn't notice anything
People are kinda divided on that...what it does is take some exhaust gas and route it back into the intake so that it can be re-burned and emissions will be better. People who get rid of it say they lose a little mileage, but the intake is a LOT cleaner because there's just clean air going...
I have the one for Vortec engines...fit wasn't that great, but it's hooked up to el cheapo shorties so stock manifolds may be better. Mine leaks where it joins with the headers...
